After these requirements are met, you can submit your psychologist licensure application to the Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists. Three professional references must be submitted, and candidates must pass a criminal background screen.

Your application is then reviewed by the board. After approval, you are then eligible to sit for the Maryland Jurisprudence Examination and the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP).

A passing score is required on both examinations. These exams are both computer-administered and offered several times throughout the year at numerous testing sites.
