The Human Services B.A. program at Alaska Pacific University offers a wide range of experiences for undergraduate students. Students can participate in programs for social services, domestic violence, community wellness, and much more. The psychology department at University of Alaska Anchorage offers both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts. Both programs endeavor to assist students in developing skills in research analysis, mastery of APA style, and career preparation. Students will take courses in research methods, abnormal psychology, personality, and social psychology. The University of Alaska Fairbanks also offers both a BS and BA. The design of the program includes a core curriculum of introduction to psychology, research methods, and seminar, but allows students to personalize their experience by choosing a set of psychology electives.
